Description
Colorado hail storms across the Denver and Fort Collins areas damaged many homes and vehicles. Independence Day supercell thunderstorms produced hail up to 3 inches in diameter, with accumulated hail depths creating localized flooding. Insured losses exceeded $500 million as tens of thousands of vehicles and structures were damaged.
